The Story of the Hope Necklace. 

Throughout the Bible, the number forty represents a period of trial and testing. This necklace has 40 beads representing personal trials endured, and the hope produced as a result.

Trials produce perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3-5
