At some point, we’ve all learned that a body at rest wants to stay at rest, and it pretty much will until an outside force acts upon it. And when it acts, it is rarely a neat and easy process. After all, who wants to change–or be changed? It’s so much easier to just chill, isn’t it? But the thing about staying still is, we can quickly go from placid to stagnant.

But God sees our potential. He knows what we can Become. So, He uses our struggles to work on our hearts. He allows them to make us uncomfortable with staying in one place. And as they make us squirm and fight against the discomfort, we are Becoming who we are meant to be.

Our new Becoming bracelet is made of a beautiful Mother of Pearl shell. The nacre, which is the mother of the pearl, is also the protector. So, even while we are being put to the test by the struggles that are shaping us, we are being surrounded and protected by The One who holds us tightly, keeping us safe from anything He doesn’t allow in.
